Vintage :

Pale, crystalline pink in color, the nose is highly aromatic, with notes of red fruit and citrus (orange zest and grapefruit).
Supple, round and fresh on the palate (pomegranate, raspberry), with a long, fruity finish.

1. Grape varieties

70% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc

2. Soils

The soil is composed of dry gravel and the subsoil is clay-silt-gravel with traces of iron oxide known as “crasse de fer”.

4. Vineyard work

The vineyard is cultivated in the traditional way, with parcel-by-parcel management: ploughing the soil, grassing, mixed planting, etc. Mechanical leaf thinning and green harvesting.

5.winemaking

The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then cold-macerated for five days to extract maximum aromas. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations are carried out in temperature-controlled tanks. High-temperature vatting and final hot maceration last between 18 and 30 days, depending on the vat, to obtain maximum concentration and balance.

6.breeding

The wine is aged in oak barrels for 3 to 6 months, depending on the vintage, and bottled at the estate.
